Throughout my life I have loved creating things, be it clothing, furnishings, jewellery or food.
How lovely to then have a daughter who follows in my footsteps. Together we now experiment in the kitchen (me washing up mostly) and pass many a late night by the light of the ancient sewing machine.
Another passion we have is foraging for free food. How special to go for a walk and return home laden with berries and flowers ready to be turned into something tasty.
It is so rewarding to reuse materials and create new works of art – a one off original!
But best of all is to sit by a roaring fire sipping homemade liqueur and enjoying toasted crumpets with lashings of home made preserves.
With this blog we want to share with you our passion for all things home made and hand crafted in the hope that you will in turn have a go a creating something unique you'll love.
No matter what we do or make we'll be there "With Bells On".
